BBQ provided by Mission Street BBQ includes smoked brisket, pulled pork, grilled chicken plus sides of baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw and your choice of a glass of Viognier, Zinfandel or Firenze Super Tuscan Blend.

Due to limited space & parking, please select a time slot to attend with your RSVP. Time slots are 12:00 to 1:30 or 2:00 to 3:30. Space is limited so reserve your seats early.

Teroldego Release Party

We’re celebrating the release of a rare Italian variety wine, our 2013 Teroldego, with a picnic. The talented Italiano chefs of Tramonti & La Gioconda restaurants are preparing an amazing assortment of Italian fair to compliment this unique wine.

A picnic on the crush pad will include:
A glass of 2013 Teroldego
Mushroom cups filled with Fontina Cheese
Beet, Arugula & Roasted Chicken Salad
Handmade Sausage Meatballs
(Vegetarian options available with prior request)

Plus a side-by-side tasting of the 2012 & 2013 Teroldego. John will be breaking out a few bottles from his own personal collection for this tasting. Only one case from the 2012 Teroldego vintage was set aside prior to being blended with the 2012 Firenze Super Tuscan Blend.

$25 for Wine Club Members / $35 for non-members.

2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Release

Bottle Jack won some great awards at the 2016 SF Chronicle Tasting and we’re releasing our award winning 2013 Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon.

Cabernet Sauvignon

This month’s tasting will feature the official release of our 2013 Santa Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon. We are very excited about this wine. It is our first Cab produced from Santa Cruz Mountain Grapes and it is already tasting fantastic.

Winemakers Notes:

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon was produced from grapes grown on a self-rooted, dry-farmed, head-trained vineyard in the Zayante area of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Tasting Notes: Blackberry, black currant, anise and black pepper. Awarded Silver at the 2016 San Francisco Wine Competition.

The 2nd Annual Bottle Jack Cookie Exchange

A cookie exchange is a great way to taste new treats and add variety to your cookie recipe stockpile. Non-cookie makers are more than well to come. There will be plenty of extra to share and wine tastings are available whether you want to be a part of the cookie madness or not.

The exchange will be from 1:00 to 3:00. Bring your favorite cookie, a container to take them home and a copy of the recipe.

Tastings are $5 per person & Wine Club Members get 4 complimentary tastings.

Since Bottle Jack Winery is dedicated to making wines that are “to be shared with family, friends, laughter and love” we want our wines to be on your Thanksgiving table this year. We have a special 3 pack sampler of our favorite Thanksgiving wines on sale this month.
Zinfandel is a classic turkey pairing. The flavors of raspberry, pepper and clove are an ideal match for both white meat, rich dark meat and smoked meat.

Sangiovese wines are also a perfect fit for turkey with aromas and flavors bursting with cherry, raspberry and pomegranate. Sangiovese will pair well with a moist turkey breast and is also great with the darker meat like turkey thighs. The acid and fruit complement will also beautify pair with your cranberry side dish.
